How do DGS price stumps?
We have a simple pricing formula to price stump removal, prices are calculated based on stump size and geographical location. Provided stump measurements are accurate, we can provide free no obligation quotations over the phone, followed by a written quotation sent by email or post as required. For large site clearance projects, a site visit will be necessary and over the phone, pricing will not be suitable.

We are often able to provide next day stump removal services throughout Southampton, Hampshire and Dorset and we will travel countrywide for larger projects. What will we need to know to get a price for stump removal?
Size – Measure the stump/s

- Widest diameter across the stump
Measure the stumps height and diameter, providing the measurements in ft and inches.
Access – Measure the access
We will require a minimum access of 28 inches, you should measure the gateway ensuring access is possible.
Our machine is 26 inches wide allowing an inch either size is our minimum requirement.
Location – We need to know your address or town
We calculate our pricing using your location in order that we can factor in travel time to the address.
