Commercial Tree Services

DGS Trees provides arboricultural contracting services to other businesses on an ad-hoc and contract basis. We specialise in commercial tree work and up to 80% of our annual work relates to aboricultural contracting services provided to other businesses.

Local planning consent / Protected trees

When instructed to undertake work, we always check the legal tree protection status of all trees included in our quotations. Failure to check tree protection status can potentially result in significant fines and legal action. DGS Trees deal with all planning applications, acting as an agent for our clients and there are no additional costs for this service when instructed to undertake work we’ve quoted for.

Insurance

We carry insurances to undertake all of our work and every quote sent includes a copy of our insurance documents, we have the following insurance policies:

1. Public liability - £5 Million
2. Professional indemnity - £500,000
3. Employers liability - £10 million  

Safety

We are audited annually by two different health and safety organisations called CHAS & SMAS, each organisation puts the company under a microscope and assess our operating procedures, ensuring we operate to a recognised industry health & safety standard. There are pass and fail criteria, only a pass will maintain our approved contractor status each year.

We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment for staff, clients and members of the public. Annual health & safety audits ensures we keep pace with industry best practice and keeps  everyone at work safe, including those that work with us!

• In house training for staff that meets the needs of DGS Trees to meet industry standards and the high expectations in the delivery of service to our customers.
• A streamlined and friendly enquiry, site visit, quotation and invoice process.
• Quotations are sent to customers within 2 days of the site visit. Ensure work is booked and managed as expediently and efficiently as possible
• Purchase and maintain High-quality and specialist arboricultural equipment that will enhance the delivery of services we provide our customers.

General support

We will endeavour at all times to:

• A manned Office/Reception that is responsive on a daily basis to general enquiries received by phone, email or by post.
• Ensure a respectful, friendly and supportive attitude at all times to everyone visiting and associated with the company, in whatever capacity.
• Listen to and respond positively to feedback and suggestions.

Complaints

Due to the high standards, we expect of our staff and the service we provide our customers we do not believe we should have dissatisfied customers.
